Job summary

Prairie Meadows Early Learning Center - Cub Kids Preschool seeks an Early Childhood Special Education Coordinator (.5 FTE) to oversee evaluation planning and case management coordination. The role includes supervising the assessment team, ensuring compliance with Minnesota EED requirements, and supporting ESY planning and IEP development.

Qualifications include a Bachelor's in Special Education or related field and a Minnesota ECSE license.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Special Education, or related field and considerable experience as a special education teacher, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minnesota Early Childhood Special Education (ECSE) Teaching License issued by PELSB.

Responsibilities

• Consults with staff, administration, and parents in the creation of an evaluation plan and reports that meet the requirements of the Minnesota Department of Education.
• Provides coordination of the Assessment Team process and conducts components of special education evaluations and related activities.
