Job summary

New London-Spicer School District is seeking an Early Childhood Special Education Coordinator for .5 FTE at Prairie Meadows Early Learning Center - Cub Kids Preschool. The coordinator will supervise evaluations, support staff, and ensure compliance with state and federal requirements.

Under the direction of administrators, duties include leading IEP/IFSP processes, coordinating assessment teams, and overseeing ESY planning, transportation, and enrollment.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Minnesota ECSE rules and policies.
• Ability to administer and interpret evaluation tools.
• Experience coordinating evaluations and IEPs.

Responsibilities

• Consults with staff, administration, and parents in evaluation planning.
• Coordinates assessment team process and evaluation components.
• Serves as Administrative Designee in meetings and supports IEP/IFSP development.
• Oversees ESY planning and related programming.
• Coordinates and/or collaborates on service delivery and paraprofessional support.
• Maintains records and reports for students receiving special education services.
