Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Deliver scripted interventions to individuals or small groups.
• Provide tutoring to reinforce taught subjects.
• Monitor and record data for behavior, academics, and IEPs.
• Supervise children on the playground and during activities.
• Mediate student conflicts and incidents.
• Notify supervisor of serious infractions; administer first aid if needed.
• Enforce school rules consistently.
• Escort students to/from playground; manage equipment.
• Supervise and guide students in social situations.
• Assist bilingual/monolingual students with classroom material.
• Tutor English-deficient students in reading, writing, speaking.
• Administer tests at year start/end; record progress.
