St. Madeleine Sophie Catholic School in Bellevue is seeking an Instructional Assistant to support PreK and/or Kindergarten for the 2026-2027 school year. This part‑time role (20–25 hours/week) collaborates with the classroom teacher to foster student engagement and smooth daily operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with young children in a school setting.
• Basic knowledge of early childhood development.

Responsibilities

• Assist classroom teacher in implementing lessons and instructional activities.
• Provide one-on-one and small group support to students.
• Support differentiation and accommodations.
• Maintain an organized, safe, and clean classroom environment.
• Support the integration of Catholic teachings and values into daily instruction.
• Supervise students during activities and recess.
• Communicate effectively with teachers, staff, families, and students.
