Job summary

Clear Destination Inc. is seeking an assistant teacher who loves helping children learn and have fun, and who will connect with families and the local community. This part-time, hourly position offers engaging activities and a supportive team environment.

Responsibilities include planning age-appropriate curricula, maintaining a clean, safe environment, and collaborating with staff to deliver high-quality childcare in a nonprofit setting that serves families in the Phoenixville area.

Qualifications

• High School degree or equivalent.
• 2 years (2500 hours) verified childcare experience.

• Assist in planning and implementing dynamic curricula to ensure fun, child-centered, and age-appropriate lessons are offered.
• Cultivate a sensitive, patient childcare environment for both children and families.
• Maintain a healthy environment through light cleaning and supporting personal care routines of the children.
• Supervise each child in your care by being able to identify, SEE, HEAR, DIRECT and ASSIST, always ensuring a safe environment.
• Uphold all YMCA, State, and Quality Rating Systems policies and guidelines for overall commitment to quality in childcare.
