Allied Universal is seeking a part-time Security Officer Driving Patrol in Fairfax, VA. This role involves driving and unarmed patrols to safeguard clients and ensure access control, while delivering professional customer service in a dynamic, security-focused environment.

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, contractors, and utility operations staff by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of utility facilities, buildings, access points, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual conditions and help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the location, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and maintain required entry, exit, and incident documentation.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Report maintenance concerns, suspicious activity, and policy violations to Allied Universal supervision and designated site contacts.
