Job summary

Devereux Pocono Center is hiring a Direct Support Professional to provide safe transportation for adults with developmental and intellectual disabilities. This part-time driver role involves split shifts, with hours ranging 15–30 per week, and requires two+ years of driving experience and a PA driver's license with a clean record.

Starting pay ranges from $18.00 to $20.52 per hour depending on experience. PayActiv option is available for early wage access, and opportunities to participate in

Qualifications

• Two or more years of driving experience required.
• Must have a valid Pennsylvania driver’s license with clean record.
• Good documentation and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe and appropriate transportation for Devereux Pocono Center residents.
• Supervise residents when professional accompaniment is not required.
• Assist Coordinator with vehicle maintenance and safety inspections.
• Perform routine cleaning of vehicles and ensure they are in good condition.
• Respond to emergencies as needed and serve as courier when required.
• Attend in-service trainings to develop skills for handling residents.
