Job summary

Manheim, a Cox Automotive company, is seeking a Driver I in Brook Park, OH. You’ll drive vehicles through auction lanes, transport cars to locations, and stage inventory while maintaining safety and efficiency. No experience is required, and you’ll join a tight-knit team in a fast-paced automotive environment.

Wage is $14.85 per hour with a $500 sign-on bonus after 90 days. Schedule is 3–4 days per week, Mon–Fri, 8am–5pm, with Wednesdays required.

Qualifications

• A valid driver's license with a safe driving record.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to operate vehicles with both manual and automatic transmissions.

Responsibilities

• Drive vehicles through auction lanes and on the auction grounds following procedures and safety rules.
• Transport vehicles to designated areas and to customer dealerships or locations.
• Stage, organize and park vehicles in the correct order as directed.
• Locate misplaced vehicles and move inventory as needed.
• Prepare vehicles for movement—inflate tires, jump-starts as needed.

Pay Rate: $14.85

$500.00 Sign-on Bonus after 90 days

You'll spend your day behind the wheel, helping ensure vehicles are in the right place at the right time. You will:

• Safely drive vehicles through auction lanes on sale days and throughout auction grounds, following all auction driving procedures, traffic laws and defensive driving practices.
• Transport vehicles to and from designated areas on auction premises, as well as customer dealerships and business locations, providing a professional and courteous experience.
• Stage, organize and park vehicles in the correct order based on direction from supervisors or team leaders.
• Help locate misplaced vehicles or move inventory as needed.
• Prepare vehicles for movement by performing basic tasks such as inflating tires and jump-starting vehicles.
• Communicate vehicle issues to the appropriate teams.
• Provide helpful, friendly support to customers, dealers, account representatives, rental agencies and coworkers.
• Follow all safety and health procedures and actively contribute to a culture of safety excellence.

• May be required to work overtime based on business needs.

Minimum Requirements

• A valid driver's license and safe driving record

Physical Requirements

• Ability to sit for prolonged periods of time
• Ability to walk long distances
• Regularly required to stand, walk, reach, talk and hear

• Vision abilities required include close, distance and color vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus
