Manheim, a Cox Automotive company, is hiring a Driver to support auction operations. You will drive vehicles through lanes, stage and park inventory, and ensure a smooth customer experience while working with a tight-knit team. No prior experience or education is required.

Shifts run Monday–Friday, 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM, with a pay rate of $15.50 per hour plus shift differential. A valid driver’s license and safe driving record are required, with preferred high school diploma/GED and some auction

• Valid driver?s license with a safe driving record is required.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous auction experience is a plus.
• Ability to drive vehicles with both manual and automatic transmissions.

• Transport vehicles to and from designated areas, customer dealerships, and business locations, providing a professional experience.

• Prepare vehicles for movement by inflating tires and jump-starting as necessary.
• Communicate vehicle issues to the relevant teams.

• Follow safety procedures and contribute to a culture of safety excellence.
• May be required to work overtime based on business needs.

What You'll Do

• Safely drive vehicles through auction lanes on sale days and throughout auction grounds, following all auction driving procedures, traffic laws and defensive driving practices.
• Transport vehicles to and from designated areas on auction premises, as well as customer dealerships and business locations, providing a professional and courteous experience.
• Stage, organize and park vehicles in the correct order based on direction from supervisors or team leaders.
• Help locate misplaced vehicles or move inventory as needed.
• Prepare vehicles for movement by performing basic tasks such as inflating tires and jump-starting vehicles.
• Communicate vehicle issues to the appropriate teams.
• Provide helpful, friendly support to customers, dealers, account representatives, rental agencies and coworkers.
• Follow all safety and health procedures and actively contribute to a culture of safety excellence.
• May be required to work overtime based on business needs.

Minimum Requirements

• A valid driver's license and safe driving record

Preferred Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED
• Previous auction experience
• Ability to drive vehicles with standard and automatic transmission

Physical Requirements

• Ability to sit for prolonged periods of time
• Ability to walk long distances
• Regularly required to stand, walk, reach, talk and hear
• Frequently required to stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, squat and climb
• Ability to lift up to 15 pounds
• Vision abilities required include close, distance and color vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus

Work Environment

This role may involve frequent exposure to varying outdoor weather conditions and moderate noise levels.
