Job summary

Ascentria Care Alliance's Good News Garage program in Vermont seeks a Part Time Driver in Morrisville to help transport Ready to Go clients safely and on schedule. You will assist riders, ensure child seats are properly installed, log ride data, and communicate with dispatch while upholding safety and customer service.

This role requires a valid driver's license, clean driving record, ability to pass background checks, and availability between 6:00 AM and 6:00 PM.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• Background checks including Vermont child protection and adult abuse registry.
• Proficiency with smartphones, GPS, and basic digital tools.
• Availability to work shifts between 6:00 AM and 6:00 PM.
• Prior experience in passenger transportation or rideshare preferred.
• Prior experience working with children preferred.

Responsibilities

• Transport clients safely and on schedule to designated destinations.
• Assist passengers with entry/exit and seat safety.
• Install, adjust, and verify child safety seats per regulations.
• Use GPS to locate clients and log ride data accurately.
• Communicate schedule changes to dispatch.
• Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and safety for riders.
