Job summary

Nexplore is seeking a Part-time Instructor to deliver in-person STEM, Digital Tech, Art, Life Skills and/or Fitness instruction to PreK-12 students at assigned sites. You will work with training, lesson plans, curriculum, and materials, reporting to a Program Success Manager.

Schedule: 3pm–4pm; Program: Drama; Compensation is $45 per hour per class. Requirements include an AA degree or higher, 2+ years teaching or related experience, ability to work with children, and reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• Must commit to the full proposed schedule.
• Great communication and presentation skills.
• Experience working with children.
• Educational (development or training) experience.
• Teaching degree or certificate is a PLUS!

Responsibilities

• Follow a provided schedule, arrive on time and prepared to teach; review lesson plans and materials prior to instruction.
• Deliver standard-aligned instruction that fosters critical thinking and joy in learning.
• Communicate professionally with the Program Success Manager and site personnel.
• Deliver engaging instruction from Nexplore’s 80+ programs with accommodations as needed.
• Engage families and help children access and participate in Nexplore programs.
