Job summary

CommunityAid Inc is seeking a part-time Donations Associate in Hanover, PA 17331. The role involves welcoming donors, sorting donations, and maintaining a clean donation area while following safety standards.

You will assist with pricing, production tasks, and accurate tracking of donated goods using an electronic tablet. Qualifications include a High School diploma or equivalent and 16+ years (18+ for higher levels).

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum age 16 for Level 1; 18 for Levels 2 and 3.
• Scheduling flexibility and evenings/weekends.
• Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Adherence to consistent attendance and weekly hours.

Responsibilities

• Greet donors professionally and provide a positive donation experience.
• Sort donations by department and identify unsellable items.
• Track donation movement using electronic tablets.
• Assist with production needs such as pricing furniture and clothing sorting.
• Follow safety guidelines, use PPE, and operate pallets, dollies, and related equipment.
• Participate in daily huddles and communicate donation volume.
