Job summary

CommunityAid in Reading, PA is seeking a part-time Donation Associate – Level 1 to provide excellent customer service, receive and sort donations, and safely track movement of goods. You will work in a fast-paced environment, maintain the donation area, and learn PPE & safety practices.

The role requires a High School diploma (or equivalent), flexibility for evenings/weekends, and comfort using an electronic tablet for donor tracking.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum age 16 years required.
• Evenings and weekend availability.

Responsibilities

• Greet donors in a friendly and professional manner.
• Sort donations by department and identify unsellable items.
• Track donation movement on an electronic tablet.
• Maintain a clean donation area and follow safety guidelines.
