Job summary

The Salvation Army in Burlington, WI is seeking a Donation Processing Associate to provide excellent service to donors, manage incoming donations, and support daily production operations. You will greet donors, track donated goods, issue receipts, assist with sorting and loading, and help maintain a clean, safe donation area while adhering to guidelines and dress code.

This part-time role requires reliability, strong communication, basic math and computer skills, and the ability to lift up to 50

Qualifications

• High school diploma or currently pursuing.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.

Responsibilities

• Greet donors warmly and offer assistance professionally.
• Receive and track donated goods per center policies.
• Provide donation receipts and collect donor information.
• Maintain a clean, safe, organized donation area.
• Safeguard donated materials and equipment.
• Communicate donation guidelines and decline unacceptable items.
• Assist with sorting/loading donations and Salvation Army trucks.
• Support production processes including sorting merchandise.
• Report safety concerns or damages promptly.
• Maintain a neat appearance per dress code.
• Assist at other store locations or with additional duties as needed.
