Job summary

Lasell University is seeking an Assistant Cross Country/Track & Field Coach (Distance/Mid-Distance) for the men's and women's programs. The role covers cross country and indoor/outdoor track seasons, with primary responsibility for 800m–10000m events and for cross country performance.

This part-time seasonal position involves coordinating practices, supporting athlete development, and collaborating with head/other coaches. A bachelor's degree is required.

Qualifications

• Coaching experience is preferred but not required.
• Valid driver's license and ability to drive a 12-person van.

Responsibilities

• Provide coaching and instruction to student-athletes in distance and middle-distance events.
• Develop a weekly training schedule and communicate it to athletes.
• Attend practices on weekdays and meets on Fridays/Saturdays.
• Oversee strength development or plyometrics with other staff for proper instruction.
• Assist with meet entries and other administrative duties.
