The Assistant Cross Country/Track and Field Coach – (Distance/Mid-Distance) will be responsible for the design and implementation of the men’s and women’s Distance and Middle-Distance athletes during both the cross country season and both indoor and outdoor track & field seasons. Working with other event group coaches and reporting to the head coach, the candidate will have primary responsibility for developing athletes in events ranging from the 800m to 10000m on the Track and for Cross Country, and for assisting the Head Coach and/or other Assistant Coaches with other event groups as necessary. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
This is a part-time position for which the specific schedule and stipend will be determined by or with the head coach.
