Job summary

Belmont Village Senior Living is seeking a part-time Dishwasher to support our dining services. You will be responsible for sanitation, cleaning of kitchen, dish machine operation, and safe storage of utensils. The ideal candidate is reliable, team-oriented, and able to work early mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays.

A background check and health screenings are required. This role offers an opportunity to work in a compassionate, senior-focused environment with growth potential.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 17 years of age.
• Must be able to communicate clearly in verbal and written English.
• Experience with cleaning standards in a commercial food operations.
• Ability to work assigned shifts including early morning, evenings, weekends and holidays as needed.
• Consistent and reliable attendance is essential for all Belmont Village employees to ensure the successful operation of the community.
• All offers of employment are conditional based on the successful completion of a State and Federal criminal background check, drug screen, job related physical and TB test.

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning and sanitizing tasks in the kitchen, including operating the dish machine, cleaning equipment, sweeping and mopping floors, and maintaining appliances
• Ensure proper storage and handling of food and equipment to meet health and safety standards
• Assist cooks with non-food preparation tasks as needed
• Maintain a clean, organized and safe kitchen and dish room environment
• Assist with stocking following food deliveries
• Make hospitality, customer service, and resident satisfaction your top priorities in every interaction
