Job summary

Northeast Arc is seeking a part-time Driver to provide safe, reliable transportation for individuals served. The role involves transporting clients from their homes to day programs and other approved locations, while assisting with related paperwork and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities include assisting clients in and out of vehicles, operating wheelchair lifts, and performing basic vehicle maintenance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of driving experience with a clean driving record; must be 19 or older.
• Must pass background checks (CORI, SORI, fingerprint).
• Valid MA driver's license with 3 years driving experience in USA.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe and timely transportation for individuals from home to day programs.
• Assist with documenting policies and DDS/MART regulations.
• Assist individuals entering, exiting, and moving around vehicles.
• Operate wheelchair lifts and secure wheelchairs.
• Perform routine vehicle maintenance and snow/ice removal.
