Job summary

Lincoln Hills Development Corporation (LHDC) seeks a part-time Disability Aide for Head Start Birth-5 in Tell City, Indiana. The role covers 28 hours per week to support children with disabilities in the classroom and on the playground.

Duties include assisting with screenings and completing required tasks in line with Head Start and Indiana licensing regulations; duties may include Cook or custodial tasks based on the schedule.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required; experience with infants, toddlers, and/or preschool children preferred.
• Must obtain a CDA within one year of hire.
• Must meet Head Start and Indiana Childcare Licensing Regulations, including background checks, drug screen, and TB test.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to children with disabilities in the classroom and on the playground.
• Assist with developmental, behavioral, and sensory screenings.
• Perform duties related to Head Start standards and center procedures; may assist with Cook or custodial duties as scheduled.
