Job summary

Spectrum Community Services is seeking a Direct Support Professional to assist individuals with disabilities in AFCS/CLS settings in Grand Rapids, MI. You will support daily living activities, health and personal care, and promote community integration.

We provide CPR/FA training and an opportunity to grow within a compassionate, mission-driven nonprofit. Applicants must be 18+, have reliable transportation, and pass a background check.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must provide two work references demonstrating good performance and attendance.
• Must have a valid Michigan Driver’s License and acceptable driving record.
• Must have reliable and ongoing transportation.
• Successful completion of a comprehensive background check including fingerprinting, medical clearance (TB test, drug screen & physical exam), and MILTC screening.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate on-site active treatment in Adult Foster Care (AFS) or Community Living Services (CLS) homes or private residence.
• Assist clients with cooking, cleaning, community integration, health and personal care.
