Job summary

Spectrum Community Services is hiring Direct Support Professionals to provide on-site coordination of active treatment in AFI/CLS homes or private residences for individuals with disabilities. Responsibilities include helping with cooking, cleaning, health, and personal care.

Qualifications include 18+, two work references, Michigan driver's license, reliable transportation, and a thorough background check with MILTC screening. Training is provided, including CPR/FA certification.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must provide two work references demonstrating good performance and attendance.
• Must have a valid Michigan Driver’s License and acceptable driving record.
• Must have reliable and ongoing transportation.
• Successful completion of a comprehensive background check including fingerprinting, medical clearance (TB test, drug screen & physical exam), and MILTC screening.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate on-site active treatment in Adult Foster Care (AFS) or Community Living Services (CLS) homes or private residence.
• Assist clients with cooking, cleaning, community integration, health, and personal care.
• Support individuals with physical, cognitive, and/or behavioral disabilities.
