Job summary

Kindly Direct Care is seeking a part-time Direct Support Professional to provide one-to-one support for a high-functioning young adult in Mercer County. The role includes transportation to classes, planning community outings, and promoting social engagement and independence.

Schedule is limited but reliable; position requires maintaining the agreed timetable, completing documentation, and collaborating with the Kindly team.

Qualifications

• Must commit to the exact schedule (Mon, Tue, Thu, Sat).
• One-to-one support with a high-functioning young adult.
• Experience in human-services/ca regiving is preferred.
• Vehicle is required to perform the role and commute between locations.

Responsibilities

• Support a one-to-one with a high-functioning young adult with intellectual disabilities.
• Provide transportation to classes and plan regular community outings.
• Encourage social engagement, independence, and participation in activities.
• Assist with routines based on individual needs and maintain safety.
• Complete required documentation and communicate with the Kindly team.
