Job summary

Kindly Direct Care is seeking a part-time Direct Support Professional to provide one-to-one support for a high-functioning young adult in Mercer County, NJ. The role includes transportation to classes and community outings, promoting social engagement and independence, and following individual support plans.

Schedule is set, and reliability is essential. Driving on shift is REQUIRED. Compensation ranges from $18 to $24 per hour, with onboarding and background checks required.

Qualifications

• Vehicle required.
• Able to complete onboarding, background checks, and training.

Responsibilities

• Support a high-functioning young adult with moderate intellectual disabilities.
• Provide transportation to and from classes and plan regular community outings.
• Encourage social engagement, independence, and participation in activities.
• Assist with routines and activities based on the individual’s needs.
• Maintain safety and follow individualized support instructions.
• Complete required documentation after services and communicate reliably with the Kindly team.
