First Resources Corp in Albia, IA is seeking a Direct Support Professional to provide hourly, one-on-one supports to adults with disabilities in the Albia community. Two weekday daytime shifts in Albia amount to about 13 hours per week. You’ll assist with meals, errands, skill building and community outings, with the possibility of additional shifts at nearby programs.

Qualificações

• High school education or equivalent; experience working with people with disabilities preferred.
• Satisfactory results on background checks pertaining to criminal and abuse registries.
• Must possess basic computer knowledge and computer-based programs.
• Able to lift a minimum of 40 pounds without restrictions.
• Successfully complete all new hire orientation checklist and required trainings by agency.
• Must have access to a telephone and reliable transportation; valid driver’s license.
• Insurability under the company’s insurance and state requirements.
