Job summary

Department for Persons with Disabilities is seeking a part-time Direct Support Professional for a 23.5-hour weekly schedule in our group homes. The role focuses on meeting residents' personal care, safety, and welfare needs, including medication administration and daily documentation.

Regular pay is $20.49/hour on weekdays and $21.49/hour for weekend shifts; full description includes training opportunities and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent is required.
• Valid driver’s license is required.
• Ability to meet CPR/First Aid and evacuation requirements.
• Experience with ID/DD population is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Help meet personal health, safety and welfare of residents in the group home.
• Assist/supervise in bathing, toileting, cleaning, cooking and life skills.
• Administer and/or assist with medication administration.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, coworkers and residents.
• Drive residents to/from day programs and community activities.
• Maintain daily documentation of services provided.
• Assist with community-based activities.
