Job summary

Human Service Agency in Watertown, SD is seeking a Direct Support Professional to assist people with disabilities in their home, workplace or day programs. Shifts run about 12–24 hours weekly, with at least one full 12-hour weekend shift every other weekend, plus additional weekday shifts as needed.

You will support meals, daily living activities, and transportation while following individualized service plans, maintaining safety and integrity in all tasks.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Criminal background check completed.

Responsibilities

• Assists with meals and ensures nutritional needs are met.
• Maintains safety and security of people served.
• Coordinates shopping and household maintenance.
• Transports people to activities and appointments.
• Supports daily living tasks and adheres to service plans.
• Reports incidents and follows agency policies.
