Job summary

Kindly Direct Care in Cape May Courthouse, NJ, is hiring a part-time Direct Support Professional for a one-to-one role supporting a wheelchair-bound adult with developmental disabilities. The position offers 2–3 days per week after 3:30 PM.

You will help with routines, encourage independence, and document services while communicating reliably with the Kindly team. Driving is required; onboarding and background checks are mandatory.

Qualifications

• Reliable, consistent with posted schedule.
• Patient, respectful, able to work one-to-one.
• Experience preferred in care or human services is a plus.
• Driving required; must complete onboarding and background checks.

Responsibilities

• Support a wheelchair-bound adult with developmental disabilities at home and in the community.
• Encourage independence, social connection, and progress toward personal goals.
• Assist with routines and activities based on the individual’s needs.
• Maintain safety and follow individualized support instructions.
• Complete required documentation after services and communicate with the Kindly team.
