Job summary

Kindly Direct Care is hiring a part-time Direct Support Professional for a one-to-one opportunity in Bergen County with immediate start. The role requires experience in direct care and a warm, proactive approach to support an adult in home and community settings.

You will work Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 3 PM to 6 PM, located in Fair Lawn, NJ 07410. Driving on shift is REQUIRED. Prior onboarding, background checks, and training are required.

Qualifications

• Must commit to the posted schedule (Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays 3 PM–6 PM).
• Dependable, respectful, patient, and comfortable working one-to-one.
• EXPERIENCE REQUIRED.
• Able to complete onboarding, background checks, and training.

Responsibilities

• Support an adult with developmental disabilities at home and in the community.
• Encourage independence, social connection, and progress toward personal goals.
• Assist with routines and activities based on the individual’s needs.
• Maintain safety and follow individualized support instructions.
• Complete required documentation after services and communicate reliably with the Kindly team.
