Job summary

Kindly Direct Care is hiring a part-time Direct Support Professional for a one-to-one opportunity in Union County, Livingston, NJ. Schedule: Tuesdays 7:30am - 2:00PM & Fridays 2:00PM - 9:00PM (Flexible). Pay: 19-21/hr. Driving on shift is required; a compassionate, patient caregiver is needed to support a 21-year-old nonverbal individual.

Experience preferred; onboarding, background checks, and training are required.Location: Livingston NJ, 07039.

Qualifications

• Able to consistently commit to the exact posted schedule.
• Dependable, respectful, patient, and comfortable working one-to-one.
• Experience preferred.
• Driving is required.
• Able to complete onboarding, background checks, and training.

Responsibilities

• Support an adult with developmental disabilities at home and/or in the community.
• Provide support to a 21-year-old nonverbal individual, with activities in shopping, movies, parks, and other community outings.
• Encourage independence, social connection, and progress toward personal goals.
• Assist with routines and activities based on the individual’s needs.
• Maintain safety and follow individualized support instructions.
• Complete required documentation after services and communicate reliably with the Kindly team.
