Job summary

Volunteers of America Southeast, Inc. in Hartselle, AL is seeking a Direct Support Professional to provide compassionate, person-centered care to individuals with disabilities.

This entry-level, part-time role offers a 2nd shift and weekend rotation, starting pay of $15.00 per hour. You will assist with bathing, feeding, grooming, hygiene, toileting, medication administration, transportation, and daily documentation, while promoting dignity, respect and independence.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older with a high school diploma or GED.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with the person receiving services, family members, and staff.
• Willingness to complete required trainings (First Aid, CPR, CPI) and company policies.
