Job summary

Creative Care Resources is seeking a Part Time Direct Support Professional (DSP) to support individuals with developmental disabilities across MN communities including Apple Valley, Burnsville, Rosemount, Inver Grove Heights, and Mendota Heights. Shifts are typically 8am–3pm or 3pm–10pm, with part-time hours available.

You will work as part of a compassionate team, providing engaging care and transportation support, while building skills and community participation for each individual.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Criminal Background Check required.
• Valid driver's license & clean driving record preferred.
• Read, write and speak English proficiently.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1 year experience with persons with special needs preferred.

Creative Care Resources has openings on both 1 st and 2 nd shift (typically 8am to 3pm and 3pm to 10pm) and specific schedules may vary based on openings and availability.

Requirements:

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Demonstrate the desire, skills and abilities to work with persons with special needs (training is provided)
• Pass a Criminal Background Check
• Valid driver's license & clean driving record preferred
• Demonstrate a positive demeanor & outlook
• Part Time hours are between 7 & 30 hours per week
• Abilityto stand, walk, sit, takestairs, bending/twisting, kneeling/crouching
• Abilityto lift up to 50 lbs.
• A willingness to work independently and as part of a team
• Read, write and speak English proficiently
• Abilityto count and manage money
• Ability to routinely operate basic equipment such as a calculator and telephone, household appliances, fire and alarm systems
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• 1 year experience working with persons with special needs is preferred

Hourly Rate: $25 – $26.50
Employees are also eligible for a quarterly incentive program after successfully completing their training period.
