Job summary

Partnership Resources, Inc. is seeking a Float Direct Support Professional to support adults with developmental and intellectual disabilities in our day programs and community-based job sites.

This role fills in for staff on vacation or off for the day and averages 30–35 hours per week, Monday through Friday, daytime hours 7 AM–4 PM, with 6–7 hour shifts. You will facilitate activities, provide job coaching, and help individuals develop skills while ensuring safety and well-being.

Qualifications

• Must be authorized to work in the United States without a sponsor visa.
• Minimum age 18 years.
• Must be able to regularly push/pull/lift 21–50 pounds.
• Must pass a background check with the MN Department of Human Services.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate activities focused on skill development, recreation and leisure in day programs.
• Support community engagement by accompanying individuals served on outings and to volunteer sites.
• Provide job coaching and support at community-based job sites to help individuals succeed.
• Support individuals served to develop skills, achieve goals and advocate for themselves.
