Job summary

Crest Services is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) for a full-time float position with a daytime 8:00 AM–4:00 PM schedule. As a DSP, you will support individuals with developmental disabilities, mental health conditions, and traumatic brain injuries in a compassionate, person-centered manner.

The role offers a stable daytime shift, competitive pay of $17.00 per hour, and the opportunity to work across multiple programs while helping residents live safely and independently.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and current auto insurance required.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Previous experience in medical, caregiving, healthcare, DSP, CNA, PCA, or related fields preferred but not required.
• Dependable, compassionate, patient, and detail‑oriented.
• Ability to adapt to different environments and work collaboratively with a variety of teams.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and meal preparation.
• Encourage independence while supporting each individual's personal goals and routines.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and respectful home environment.
• Monitor and report changes in residents’ health, behaviors, or overall well‑being.
• Assist with transportation to appointments, community outings, and activities.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals and team members to provide well‑rounded support.
• Provide flexible support across programs as part of the float team.
