Job summary

Easterseals Rehabilitation Center- Evansville, IN is seeking a part-time Direct Support Professional to provide direct care in Aspire Day Services. You will work Monday through Friday, with various shifts, and a pay rate of $16.00/hour. Training is provided, and experience in healthcare or caregiving is preferred.

The role emphasizes assisting with daily living activities, mobility, and documentation, while supporting individuals with disabilities in a compassionate setting.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old with a High School Diploma or GED or ability to pass a reading test.
• Experience in healthcare or caregiving preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 70 pounds occasionally and 40 pounds frequently.
• Must pass Physical, Drug Screen, TB test, reference checks and background checks.

Easterseals Rehabilitation Center Southwestern Indiana is looking for a Direct Support Professional (DSP) to provide direct care to individuals with disabilities in our Aspire Day Services. Have fun, and share our passion for changing lives! No Experience Necessary! We provide all the training!

This is a Part-Time position working Monday-Friday 8:30-2:00 with the exception of Wednesdays 8:30-4:00

Pay rate is $16.00/hour

Direct Support Professional Responsibilities:

• Assist with feeding, toileting, and mobility
• Administer medications, treatments, and other medical procedures as trained and prescribed
• Implement behavior programs and documentation
• Assist with Activities and Outings
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Must be at least 18 years old with either a High School Diploma, GED, or the ability to pass a reading test
• Experience in a healthcare or caregiving setting preferred
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to lift up to 70 pounds occasionally and 40 pounds frequently
• Must pass a Physical, Drug Screen, TB test, reference checks, background checks
