Job summary

Resources for Human Development is hiring Part-Time Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) for Varsity Crest in Raleigh, NC. Shifts include 2nd 4:00 PM–12:00 AM and 3rd 12:00 AM–8:00 AM, with a pay rate of $16.50/hour and DailyPay available.

DSPs will support individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities and behavioral health needs, helping them participate in the community and reach personal goals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Basic computer and internet skills.
• Ability to use email, timekeeping systems, and other required programs.

Responsibilities

• Provide supervision and support to individuals according to their Person-Centered Support Plans.
• Assist individuals with activities of daily living, including meal preparation, personal hygiene, toileting, and other needs as appropriate.
• Support individuals in developing skills that promote greater independence.
• Administer medications as needed and in accordance with program requirements.
• Provide transportation to individuals as required.
• Assist individuals in participating in community activities and accessing community resources.
• Provide support with medical appointments and other essential community-based services.
• Work collaboratively with clinical and program staff to implement residential interventions and support individual goals.
• Complete required documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
• Promote a safe, respectful, and supportive residential environment.
