Job summary

Seven Hills is hiring Direct Support Professional I - HBTS in Cranston, RI. This part-time role runs Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm, supporting children ages 3 to 21 with disabilities in home and community settings.

You will provide direct behavioral therapy, model skills for families, and report progress to clinicians. A high school diploma and a valid driver’s license are required; prior DSP experience is beneficial.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED/HiSET required.
• Standard driver’s license – class C or class D.
• 1 – 3 years of related experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct behavioral therapy to individuals ages 3 to 21, including role modeling and training to parents and families.
• Support the child and family by promoting individualized, person-centered, service delivery which meets identified needs.
• The professional provides assistance to the child with self-help and self-care as well as teaching of social and safety skills when applicable.
• Ongoing communication and data reporting to clinicians and coordinators regarding the approved program.
