Challenge Enterprises of North Florida, Inc. is seeking compassionate Direct Care Specialists to support residents in group homes in Orange Park, FL. This part-time role covers nights, weekends and holidays with a pay rate of $16.50 per hour.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid Florida Driver's License with clean 3-year driving record.
• Must pass State background screening.
• One year of experience in medical, psychiatric, nursing home, childcare, or developmental disability setting (training may substitute).

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals with activities of daily living (grooming, bathing, meal prep, housekeeping, shopping, cooking, money management).
• Support individuals to achieve goals in their Support Plan and Implementation Plan.
• Promote independence, dignity, and community inclusion.
• Plan and participate in recreational and community activities.
• Administer medications and document accordingly.
• Complete daily documentation and maintain health records.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members.
• Record time and attendance accurately.
