Ashby Ponds by Erickson Senior Living is hiring part time Servers /Food Runners for our restaurants in Ashburn, Virginia. Our senior living community takes the time to really get to know each other, and we strive to create engaging and memorable experiences. Come join our team and have fun!

As a Server, you are responsible for serving residents and guests meals in a friendly, service-oriented manner. The server records and inputs beverage and food orders into the POS system, delivers and serves

Qualifications

• Prior service and/or kitchen experience is preferred, but we will train.
• Friendly and energetic communication skills.
• Must be willing to work weekends and holidays.
• Ability to stand for long periods, carry trays, and lift up to 25 pounds.
• A solid work ethic and a positive, team attitude.

Responsibilities

• Become a subject matter expert on menu items, daily specials, and preparation methods.
• Engage with our residents and their guests by sharing daily menu highlights and offering recommendations based on knowing their preferences.
• Accurately record food and beverage orders and consistently deliver an exceptional dining experience.
• Coordinate food orders to support timely and efficient delivery to each table.
• Delivers food from the kitchen to the correct tables and seat positions.
• Communicates any additional information from the guest to the server.
• Assists servers in clearing soiled dishes.
