Job summary

Ingleside at Rock Creek in Northwest Washington, DC is seeking part-time dining servers to join our senior living community. The role involves table service in the community dining rooms and requires a high school diploma or GED, plus six months to one year of dining room experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Six months to one year of dining room service experience preferred.
• Able to follow written and verbal instructions with good communication skills.
• Knowledge of sanitation and cleaning methods; proficient with Meal Tracker.

Responsibilities

• Set up dining room tables and chairs and ensure compliance with standards.
• Greet residents and dining guests, take orders and enter them into the computer.
• Prepare drinks and serve meals in a courteous and timely manner.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of dining areas and related workstations.
• Assist with buffet and tray setup and restock as needed.
• Ensure correct charging by entering residents into the computer system.
