Job summary

Fountain View at Logan Square is seeking a Dining Room Server to join our team. This position is part-time with shifts 4 pm-8 pm and Sunday 12:30 pm-5 pm, offering consistent weekend availability and competitive pay of $15.45 per hour (all-inclusive).

As a Dining Room Server, you will assist in meal service, maintain dining areas, and communicate residents' preferences to the team to support individualized care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred.
• English reading, writing, speaking and understanding required.
• Experience in food service or customer service a plus.
• Ability to provide age-appropriate service to residents.
• Strong communication and teamwork.
• Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment with professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the kitchen with meal preparation and meal service to residents, ensuring meals are served in a timely, courteous, and professional manner.
• Provide friendly, attentive service that fosters a positive, enjoyable dining experience for residents and guests.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen, dining areas, and food-service equipment in accordance with safety and infection-control standards.
• Follow directions regarding compliance with nutritional standards, internal procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Assist with setting up and clearing tables, stocking supplies, and preparing dining areas to create an inviting environment.
• Communicate resident preferences, concerns, and special dietary requests to appropriate team members to support individualized care.
• Work collaboratively as a team player, willingly assisting wherever needed to ensure smooth dining operations and exceptional service.
