Job summary

Resort Lifestyle Communities (RLC) in Kansas City, MO invites you to join as a Part-Time Server to craft joyful dining experiences for residents and to be part of a caring, collaborative team. You’ll participate in both casual and fine dining, greet guests, take orders, and ensure smooth service from start to finish.

No prior experience is required, and you must be at least 15 years old. This on-site role offers growth and a supportive, resort-style environment for you to make a difference.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 15 years of age.
• No previous work experience is required.
• Must be able to communicate effectively in English with residents, guests, and employees.
• Ability to secure required food handler permits within two weeks of hire.
• State regulations may require obtaining a work permit; guidance provided by location Community Manager.

Responsibilities

• Enhance the dining experience for residents in casual dining by carrying trays, offering beverages, and meeting service needs.
• Assist in fine dining by greeting tables, guiding menu selections, taking orders, and serving courses from beverages to desserts.
• Clear and reset tables, handle dishes, refill water, and set tables before meals.
• Vacuum carpets, clean the salad bar, and perform other cleaning tasks as needed to keep the dining area tidy.
• Deliver room service meals and pick up trays with a friendly, positive attitude.
