Job summary

Cochise College seeks an Associate Faculty of Digital Media Arts to teach introductory digital media, photography, graphic design, and imaging across Cochise County. Instruction occurs face-to-face, blended, and online to a diverse student body.

The position emphasizes lesson planning, student assessment, and collaboration with colleagues to improve instructional programs. Evening/weekend work may be required. A post-offer background check is required.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Digital Media Arts or Master’s plus 18 graduate hours in Digital Media Arts
• Bachelor’s Degree in Digital Media Arts or related field per US ED accreditation

Responsibilities

• Teaches assigned courses to enrolled students in classroom, lab, or online environments
• Develops, prepares and implements lesson plans; conducts assessments
• Completes all college and department reports on or before deadlines
• Responds to communications within 48 hours
• Collaborates with faculty to assess teaching strategies and program effectiveness
• Maintains student records and statistics as required
• Resolves issues with department chairs or deans as needed
• Performs other duties as assigned
