Job summary

AeroVironment is seeking a Digital Marketing Associate to support day-to-day Social Media, Content and Paid Media. This part-time role (20 hours/week) suits recent grads or students passionate about video editing, design, and storytelling, bringing campaigns from concept through execution.

Based at AV's Arlington, Virginia headquarters, you will help strengthen brand awareness, grow audience engagement, and collaborate with the Social, Creative Design, and Product Marketing teams to produce

Qualifications

• BA degree or current upperclassmen in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or related field.
• Hands-on experience with major social platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram, X, TikTok).
• Hands-on experience with digital content creation.
• Familiarity with Sprout, Sprinklr, HubSpot or similar.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, and Monday.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, stay organized, and meet deadlines.
• Willingness to learn new tools and thrive in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

• Monitor social media trends and conduct social listening to identify content opportunities and insights.
• Assist in managing and updating the social media content calendar.
• Support video editing for social platforms using Adobe Premiere Pro and CapCut.
• Perform basic photo editing and retouching using Lightroom or Photoshop.
• Create visual assets, including social posts, slides, and market research materials.
• Collaborate with the social team to refine content for target audiences.
• Support paid media campaigns including Google AdWords, Programmatic Display, and Paid Social.
• Track and analyze social media performance metrics and identify improvement opportunities.
• Contribute ideas during brainstorming for platform-specific content and defense-industry relevance
