Job summary

City of Pasadena is seeking a part-time Digital Imaging Technician/Clerk to support law enforcement and court personnel. You will handle inquiries, manage digital evidence in an electronic system, and ensure chain-of-custody is maintained in line with policy.

The role requires a high school diploma, basic clerical experience, and Texas driver’s license; TCIC/NCIC certification must be obtained within 12 months. Strong customer service skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and one year clerical records management experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must pass a post offer pre-employment drug screening.
• Must obtain TCIC/NCIC certification within one year of hire.
• Possess a current State of Texas driver's license.
• Working familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• The PART-TIME Digital Imaging Technician/Clerk responds to inquiries from law enforcement and court personnel.
• Performs inventory control and tracking of digital evidence via electronic database.
• Safeguards and maintains integrity of the evidence.
• Maintains records of the release and/or disposal of digital evidence in accordance to departmental policies.
