Job summary

Lansdowne Village is hiring a part-time Dietary Cook for the day shift (5:30 am – 1:30 pm). The role supports high-quality senior care in a village-like setting with a large enterprise backing through a wide network.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• 1 year of experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review planned menus and determine types and quantities of meats, vegetables, and soups.
• Determine weekly food quantities and submit orders to Dietary Manager.
• Maintain inventory records and notify shortages to Dietary Manager.
• Supervise dietary workers during washing, trimming, or preparing food.
• Cook meat, fish, and fowl using various methods per menu and resident diet orders.
• Observe infection prevention and maintain a clean kitchen.
• Perform tasks to support resident care and safety.
