Job summary

Lansdowne Village is seeking a part-time Dietary Cook to support our senior living community. You will prepare meals per planned menus, manage food prep, and maintain a clean kitchen while following infection prevention protocols.

Collaboration with the Dietary Manager and staff ensures resident dietary orders are met and meals served on time. Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and at least 1 year of kitchen experience; reliable contact details are required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• 1 year kitchen or foodservice experience preferred.
• Open communication and professionalism expected.

Responsibilities

• Prepare meats, vegetables, and soups according to planned menus.
• Determine quantities and assist in inventory and ordering.
• Cook to meet menu combinations and resident dietary orders.
• Observe infection prevention and control practices.
• Maintain a clean, organized kitchen and assist in training staff.
• Work with Dietary Manager to ensure timely service and quality.
