Big Meadows Nursing Home is seeking a dedicated Dietary Aide to join our dietary team. You will assemble patient trays according to prescribed diets, serve residents, and support dishwashing and cleaning duties to maintain a sanitary kitchen area.

The role emphasizes strict adherence to safety and sanitation guidelines, proper use and care of dietary equipment, and ongoing learning of new processes. You will work on-site in Illinois and contribute to a caring, hygienic dining program for

Formación

• Experience in a food service or dietary assistant role is preferred.
• Ability to assemble trays according to diet orders.
• Knowledge of sanitation, safety and hygiene practices.

Responsabilidades

• Assemble patient/resident trays according to prescribed diets.
• Serve patients and residents.
• Perform dishwashing duties, wash pots and pans, and clean work areas including floor care.
• Put away stock following safety guidelines.
• Set up/serve special functions.
• Understand and demonstrate proper use and care of dietary equipment and supplies.
• Observe proper sanitary techniques.
• Maintain knowledge of applicable laws and regulations.
