Job summary

Apploi in Illinois is seeking a compassionate Dietary Aide to enhance the dining experience for residents in our Extended Care affiliated facility. You will help serve nutritious, visually appealing meals and support the culinary team in meal service.

The role requires weekend availability, the ability to lift up to 25 lbs, and the stamina to stand for long periods while delivering friendly, attentive service.

Qualifications

• Availability to work weekends and some holidays
• Ability to push, pull, move, and lift at least 25 lbs and carry items a minimum distance of 50 feet
• Ability to stand for prolonged periods and work at a fast pace with attention to detail
• Excellent customer service skills

Responsibilities

• Serve meals that are nutritious, palatable, and visually appealing
• Assist in meal service in a timely and organized manner
• Ensure food is served according to portion control procedures
• Perform daily cleaning duties following facility policies and procedures
• Set up meal trays, food carts, and the dining room to enhance the mealtime experience
• Prepare and deliver snacks and additional dietary items as needed
