Mission View Health Care Center is seeking a part-time Dietary Aide to support daily food service in our care facility in San Luis Obispo, CA. You will prepare meals, deliver trays, stock supplies, and maintain clean kitchen areas while ensuring resident safety and satisfaction.

The role emphasizes teamwork, reliability, and a positive attitude to serve geriatric and disabled residents. Background checks, TB clearance, and physicals are required; lifting up to 50 pounds may be needed.

Qualifications

• Clearances: Ability to pass a background check, reference check, physical exam, and TB clearance.
• Physical Ability: Lift up to 50 pounds and stand/walk/bend/twist for long periods.
• Personality: Interest and ability to work with geriatric and disabled residents, positive attitude and strong team spirit, good verbal communicator.

Responsibilities

• Prepare kitchen and assist with daily food service.
• Deliver meal trays and plates to residents.
• Retrieves trays at the end of mealtime.
• Stock inventory and organize storage areas.
• Wash dishes.
• Clean and sanitize kitchen areas and equipment.
• Attend staff and in-service meetings.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
