Job summary

The Pines in Placerville is seeking a dependable Dietary Aide to support daily kitchen operations and ensure residents receive meals in a safe, timely, and sanitary manner. You’ll set up and serve meal trays, assist with food preparation, and maintain kitchen cleanliness while collaborating with the Cook and Dietary Supervisor.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Food Handler’s Certificate or willingness to obtain.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.

• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Experience in food service or healthcare settings is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Set up and serve meal trays to residents.
• Assist with food preparation, snacks, and nourishments.
• Wash dishes and operate the dishwasher safely and efficiently.
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas, equipment, and dining spaces.
• Monitor dishwashing temperatures and sanitation standards.
• Store food and supplies in an organized and sanitary manner.
• Take out trash and support overall kitchen upkeep.
• Work collaboratively with dietary and facility staff to meet daily needs.
